BRANDING PROJECT
CLIENT: UMAYA

BRANDING | PUBLIC RELATIONS | ADVERTISING | SPECIAL EVENTS

Current restaurant client, the mastermind behind Asia DC, among other local favorites tasked our team to assist building a brand from scratch. With plans to open an authentic Izakaya beer garden in the middle of Washington, DC, he requested that we be an integral part of branding a fresh new brand that still paid homage to time honored Japanese culture.

We worked diligently on logo design, met with their architectural and interior design teams to integrate their advertising initiatives with their decor, and set a full brand strategy set to launch almost a year before the restaurant even opened its doors.

From advertising to press kits and traditional public relations, Umaya was born.

Advertising campaigns were created to run both digitally and via print, beginning with pre-opening placement. Our team began telling the story of Umaya, then highlighting upcoming events, exclusive promotions, and its gourmet menu.

We first aligned with traditional cuisine and then set the venue apart with

out-of-the-box modern campaigns
